The solar panels are now on the roof on the south side. The walls in the Stables have been plastered and have had the first coat of paint– it is almost looking habitable. We just need some stairs!

We are well ahead of schedule and hope to be open by December.

Work has finally started on Pitlands Barns, two months ahead of schedule. Having spent the last month emptying the barns of farm machinery, the grain dryer and lots of rubbish, the ground work started, levelling the ground, checking the foundations of the main walls and digging the footings for the internal walls. All the time excavation work was going on, George the archaeologist was checking for any Roman finds!
